Awful customer service. My husband and I needed to get our hot tub repaired. It took us over 9 weeks to finally have it completed. I left a message nearly everyday just to have someone call me back just to set up an initial appointment. That took 3 weeks. Finally, the guy came as looked at it, figured out what was wrong, said he would order the part. Another 2 weeks went by and we had heard nothing. We called and left message after message and finally someone returned our call. We scheduled an appointment to replace the part. The guy never showed. My husband called down after he was 2 hours late. No one knew anything then said our part wasn't even in. Turns out the tech was sick and that was the reason for the no show. No call or anything. Another week goes by with no new information, then finally the tech calls and wants to come put the part in. Finally, after we had given up all hope, it was up and working again. Would not recommend anyone to use them EVER!! Worst experience I have every had with any business in town.
The other (new) hot tub company agreed the circuit board was defective, and unfortunately he did not have that model, and that they were no longer made.
I called Rain Drops to visit my house and ensure, that ... yes it is a defective circuit board. After leaving multiple messages w/o any response. I finally called another hot tub company.
Worst customer service! My husband and I walked in, with intent to buy, and not a single employee greeted us. After browsing the store we decided to leave. Meanwhile the employees sat behind the counter, one with his feet up, and no one bothered to stand up. Very disappointed after the 45 min drive to get there. I do not recommend this business!!!
Raindrops has always made me feel like a valued customer and has a great selection of repair parts. They are my one stop place for all my pool and hot tub supplies.
I purchased a hot tub from Rain Drops in 2001. The hot tub has work like a champ. I periodically clean the tub, and lube the parts so that it stays in working condition. However, the circuit board eventually broke and needed to be replaced.
I called Rain Drops again, and asked if they had a circuit board for my model hot tub. The service tech wrote things down, and mentioned he would call me back w/I 1-2days. After 1+- week, I came to the conclusion he was not going to call back. I then left another message with another service tech and two messages with the people at the front desk. All mentioned, that Raindrops has an assortment of circuit boards. Needless to say, I never received a follow-up phone call, message or anything.
Reading other reviews about the service of this company, I realize that I am not alone. We recently moved to the Aztec/Farmington area and needed to get our hot tub up and running. Apparently, it was diagnosed by a Raindrops service person, with a broken circuit board and control panel. It has taken multiple weeks to get a call back from them even after leaving messages with their front office. I even visited them in person and was given the "it'll be in, in a week" runaround. It has been 3 months and still no word from them or a working hot tub. I am very disappointed because they came highly recommended.
I am convinced Raindrops wants nothing to do with repairing , helping, servicing my hot tub.
