So-So and Overpriced for RVs -- This is a mobile home park with a few spots for RVs. We camp all over New Mexico, and this place is overpriced as an RV spot. It has no amenities -- no restrooms or showers, no picnic tables, fire rings, shade, or in some sites no water or sewer. Supposed to have internet but it is slow to nonexistent -- we gave up on it. What is does have is small spaces for RVs, very close to next slot, with electric hookups. Sites are level and clean. The place feels safe. If you just need overnight for a place to sleep it's ok, but again, overpriced for what you get.
The property owners/managers, Ray and Diane are Christians and I have the utmost respect for them. The maintenance crew does a very good job at keeping the property well maintained. Any issues that I have had have been taken care of in a very timely manner.
Great park very clean and quiet owners are awesome people if you are ever in the area this is a must stay. I would recommend them to family and everyone. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay
It's a clean, quiet well-managed mobile home park. I feel very fortunate to have found it...and if only other such parks could be as good as this one. C.S.
I have lived here at Sundowner mobile home and RV park since September of 2013. The rentals all look like new and are very well maintained. The rates are very affordable as well.
Good price, good people.
There is a small park with walking trails along the river next door and a larger park with picnic tables, BBQ pits and tennis courts a short distance away. There are many small mom and pop stores in historic downtown Farmington and a Safeway within walking distance. There is also a Wall Mart a short drive away as well. I highly recommend Sundowner to anyone looking for a quiet safe neighborhood to live in.
