Unfortunately like all malls they are suffering. Dollar Tree seems to be their hub store. Some lonely employees wander to the front door to try and coerce you in. But its a great spot to get some quiet undisturbed walking in. Also, you can get a massage on both ends of the mall
I’m not much of a shopper but the store selection is nice. If people would learn to not walk 4-people-wide while they’re out n about it’d be even more enjoyable but as far as the mall itself it’s pretty clean and has a decent selection of stores.
My brother was asked to leave the mall today by the overzealous security director. The mall security escorted him out due to taking a picture of the Christmas tree with his phone. I spoke with the director on the phone and tried to reason with him, that my brother is not a threat. The director was very disrespectful and condescending. Navajos at Animas Valley Mall this weekend, keep in mind that you could be targeted by mall security for the color of your skin. Your money may be green but you are all targets due to your skin color!
