Can't be beat. I travel for a living and been to lots of rib joints. This place ranks with my favorite rib place (Van's Pig Stand - Shawnee, OK). Can't wait to come back!
We have been going to the Spare Rib for a long time, it's one of my favorite places to eat. The employees have always made us feel at home, by greeting us with a big smile and a warm hello, how ya doin. If you never been there it's well worth stopping by. You order at the counter the menu is small but country like the good old days. The food is great, smoked fresh every night and throughout the day the smells are what dreams are made of they take me back to a simpler time. They have some of the best cobbler almost just like grandma use to make served with ice cream if you want. Seating is sometimes hard to find especially around lunch and dinner time. They also have take out.

Great barbecued chicken, beef, pork, turkey, sausage, etc. Funky, down-home atmosphere. Fast service--order at the counter then find a seat or wait for take-out. Delicious! Great value.
Dinner with friends at the Rib tonight and everything tasted just right. Chicken was moist and tender, ribs were meaty and fall-off-the-bone done, and the sausage, what's not to like?! While the food was the star, it was the service (with a smile) that made the meal complete. Jimmy, these girls need a raise...Paige, Carrie Jo and Jenna!!
