All the food at Pizza 9 is awsome, service to match.
The place was packed on a Saturday night. We had about 25 minute wait. The margherita pizza was about average. Not much basil on top and made with sauce and no tomatoes. The salad was good. And the Italian margarita drink was excellent. Overall a decent place to stop for dinner when in Durango.
Third time here, staff is always friendly. They have killer lunch deals. I've tried the Italian beef sandawhich $7.50 Full salad $7.10 (lots of veggies) and today chicken sandawhich $8.60 With green chili and cheese. Its wonderful. Oh and today they came around with free soup samples. Great stop, can't wait to try the pizza for dinner this week.
This place has a great local handmade feel to everything they offer. The salads and side items are awesome. The pizza is a unique change from Domino's and Pizza Hut. They also have a great gluten free menu.
I travel almost constantly for work, and everywhere I go I try to support local businesses, and I rely on review like I read here to choose where I eat. No offense to those who love this pizza, but Pizza Hut is better and I don't even consider Pizza Hut to be good. My pizzas had almost no detectable sauce, and was a little overcooked. Just my opinion, hoping to help others in the future.
