It's too bad that this place has received some low ratings...our experience was wonderful. We walked in and were seen within 15 minutes. Everyone was kind, patient, compassionate, and professional. I felt like we received care that I would get from our personal doctor at home (we are traveling across country). I appreciated that the staff worked to figure out what was going on with my son, and didn't throw unneccessary medicine our way (which seems to happen in urgent cares). If we lived locally, I would not hesitate to bring my family here for care. Don't be fooled by the poor ratings; this is a great facility.

Since the co pay for an urgent care visit is clearly stated on my card, I tried to pay for my visit at check out. They refused my payment and told me to call the billing office. My past experience with SJRMC billing is that they DO NOT send you billing statements and send you straight to collections. This has happened to me personally years ago and apparently this practice of theirs has not ceased. My address is always up to date on my license so an incorrect address is not the issue unless the staff is not updating it. I've also heard from people I know that have had the exact same experience. If you ever visit the hospital for care I'd make sure to follow up monthly to check on your balance and if claims have been closed. No issues with care received, the Doctor was attentive and satisfactory. Please improve your billing! Low rating because I want to pay my co pay immediately and not worry about a lingering bill.

The Dr are rude with poor bed side manners always act like there time is more valuable then you're heath

Dr. Schmidt was rude. I don't think she has much experience with kids. Her bedside manner was severely lacking. My daughter came in with conjunctivitis, clearly. I knew it and the Dr treated her like she had some deadly contagious disease. Her tone was rude. She spoke to my 7 year old as if she was an adult. Obviously, conjunctivitis is highly contagious, but she signed up for the job and could use some lessons on bedside manner. When my daughter asked her worried if she was going to put drops in hers eyes the Dr told her, "No! I don't want to infect the other kids or myself!" Also, after our kids family pediatrician checks their eyes and ears she tells them to blow out the little light and when they blow on it she turns it off. It's cute. Well when my daughter asked Dr. Schmidt to "blow out the light" and she replied in the most sarcastic and annoyed voice, "well you can try". I was mad so, of course, I interjected and told my kid that it was ok and this isn't her Dr. Really everything she said waa pretty rude. It was a pretty nasty experience.

didnt find out why I feel sick, waste money and time
