I was concerned so I went to the manager who told me that it couldn't have happened. And that they close one transaction and open another. So I asked her why it said that. She acted like I was mistaking and called up Tyler in the shoe department. I watched her talk to him and she was smiling and said, "Okay, so you never said anything about an email or...", then she hung up. She told me that he didn't say that. I told her he did.
The manager told me the police have been called & security. I said,
Once she finished my transaction the SAME EMAIL message came up...that my e-receipt would go to someone named Adam. I told her, "Gee, what do we have here? Same thing I was trying to tell you in the first place." Then she said, "Maam, all he received was this part of your email, right here.." I said, "I don't care about what was sent. It's not about the content. Would you like it if I sent your info to someone else?" Finally, she admitted she wouldn't.
So she rudely said that she'd go ahead and void it all and then ring it up again for me. I asked her how that would fix the problem. I just didn't want my receipt going to someone I didn't know. I told her not to worry about it.
"Fine. I'm returning my shoes." She yelled, "Get to the register and I'll help you!!" I told her I'd stay right where I was.
Then I went back in to return my shoes because I will never buy from them again.
My experience with the sales rep was pleasant..no pressure and was very attentive.
Went in to buy some shoes. Tyler was in the shoe department. I bought two pairs of shoes and he rang me up. At the end of the transaction I saw that it said my e-receipt would be going to someone named Adam. I asked him about it. And he said, "Yeah, that was probably the guy behind you."
It wasn't about the e-receipt so much as these people's attitude when I came to them with the problem.
All of Farmington should be warned. Don't go to Sears. Avoid. You can get same merchandise, and even better, for same price elsewhere.
I'll be sure to follow through on this because I've never been treated so badly by a store before.
I lost it. I don't know who he thinks he is, or the manager, for that matter. How would they like it if they were treated like that and had their info sent to some stranger?
Bought a car jack set with a creeper. When I got it home and unpacked, I found that the creeper was broken. I took it back only to have them tell me I needed to bring the whole set back. I explained that I had hurt my back and couldn't lift the jack, but they didn't care. They even had an identical creeper sold separately which they could have used for the swap. The manager Alfred either lacks the authority (shame on Sears) or the interest (shame on him) to make that simple swap.
My wife and I love kenmoore products but I would say that the Farmington Sears store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The sales associates and store manager only care about the commission after the sale once the sale is made you are on your own. The store manager is one of the most rude and arrogant people I have ever dealt with. Needless to say we will never buy from Sears again.
Then I went back to Tyler. I asked him, "Did you or did you not tell me that my receipt went to someone named Adam?" He said, "Oh well, I just said that because I didn't know what it was. I never saw that before." Then I asked him, "So you're going to tell your manager I'm a liar?" He laughed and said, 'You can go now. Bye."
I yelled and threw things, which I shouldn't have done. But not sorry, either.
Was snubbed by customer service rep. Walked right by me to ask a white lady if she needed help. I guess Native Americans dont count in Farmington Sears.
