Pros: 1) Service was pretty good in the eatery from our waiter. 2) The location is easy to get to since it's downtown and so is parking. That's a huge plus for elderly and families.
Cons: 1) The food is over priced for what you receive. $16 for burger isn't bad if the burger is top notch, organic, 2) After eating at the eatery, we were sitting on the bench outside the lounge area and the host came out and kicked us off the bench saying we could only sit there if we were customers. Who in the organization come up with that weird policy?
Beer was good, liqour drink didn't have three shots like it was supposed to. Ribs were good but a half rack for 22$ is a bit steep. Ahi was good but for 17$, it should come with sides like the menu says it does. Chicken strips were good even though it came as a whole chicken breast and you had to make strips of it. Their homemade root beer is awesome. Service was good. Chips were stale, even after we asked for fresh ones. They did have an area for kids where they could play with toys. That is always good if you have kids. Decor was cool and historical aspect of the building was neat. Will not come back though, prices are too high and it wasn't to die for. Should have looked at the menu first. We did notice a family come in, look at the menu, and then leave. Bill with tip came to 107$ for a family of 6. We didn't want fast food so we came here to sit down and eat. Oh well, lesson learned.
Went to get some pizza and wings. Pizza was good but they replaced the wings. Went from delicious buffalo wings to under cooked smoked wings that were red and bloody and cold. Chicken isn't suppose to be undercooked.
Overall: I would likely not return. I understand it is the only brewery/eatery in the town so they have a monopoly on this market. It feels like the locals are getting the short end of the stick with this place.
This place is amazing the food is Incredibly good and the drinks are amazing it’s all brewed as well so it’s all fresh, I love the root beer from this place!
This place is amazing! Not what you would expect from a small town! Great atmosphere, friendly service. The food was presented as Cuisine and it was Cuisine! Very reasonable price. Not what you would expect. Ask for Jewel.
